Privacy Policy

QuickVideoCutter.com has no accounts and never receives your video. This page explains what stays on your device, the few anonymous counts that are sent, and who else handles a request.

Your video

Your video is opened and cut by your browser, on your own device. It is never uploaded to our servers, and we never see it, a frame of it, or its name.

The new file is written to your browser's private storage for this site until you download it. Once you close the tab, its export files are cleared the next time you open a video here.

Anonymous counts

To learn which formats and browsers need work, the page sends a few anonymous events, such as "a video opened" or "an export finished". Each one holds only these values:

  • the tool used and the event, such as an export finishing or failing, with its error code
  • the video format (for example H.264) and the container (MP4 or MOV)
  • the browser family (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or other)
  • a rough length and size range, such as "30 seconds to 2 minutes" and "10 to 100 MB"

Cookies

We set no cookies and use no advertising or third-party analytics. Your theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not store IP addresses with the counts above.

Your rights

The counts cannot be linked to a person, so there is nothing personal for us to show or delete. If you have a question about your data, write to contact@quickvideocutter.com.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes. Material changes will also be noted in the changelog.
